New Deck & cards 'stick' together, any tips?
I've had this with two decks now, the Wild Wisdom of the Faery and the Green Witch Tarot: the card keep kind of sticking together so you cannot shuffle properly and cutting the deck is annoying as they always cut at the same place. Not all cards stick, it's like lumps of about 10 cards do throughout the entire deck, and they keep doing this. So even when you shuffle, these stacks of approx 10 keep together, they don't separate, so you don't really shuffle at all.
I don't believe I've ever had this with other decks in the past.
Anyone got tips?

When we used to play cards and they stuck like that we'd sprinkle baby powder over them and then wipe off with soft cloth.
Doesn't hurt the cards, just gives them the slip needed.

I use a product called fanning powder, it's basically zinc stearate.
Never use talcum powder, it attracts and holds moisture that will ruin your cards.

You really need to remove the excess sheen from the surface of the cards, using an abrasive. Cardboard on cardboard is best. For example, an A4 (spiral-bound) notepad has plenty room to rub and swish each side of a card across its surface.
Like when you might rub a comb against a sweater to attract little bits of paper, the friction process causes the opposite effect.
Try to have fun, because it's a lengthy task. Get a feel for the card beneath the tips of the fingers. Imprint each card with your very own personal touch.
Also, bend each and every card back and forth, and from corner to corner. Carefully. You don't want to kink a single card.
Treat like a reading - I got the The Way-Shower, as the last card to be treated.
