Do crystals really work?

I've had a few crystals but I couldn't tell if they were working.blue calcite and quartz.what are they supposed to do and how do you take care of them?
How can they heal you?

Crystals are awesome. Crystals are like batteries. They store and release energy at a specific frequency. They give you energy when you need it, and take energy away when you need to have energies removed. You can use them to help meditate and in rituals they can represent the elements. They also add energy to spell work. You can place them around your magic circle to protect or remove negative energy. They work really well if you wear them. A great example are diamonds. (Bible Spells, page 33 by Oribello) Diamonds should be used carefully however as they amplify both good and bad stuff. Oh and I absolutely love My Himalayan salt lamps. I see them actually eat bad energy sometimes, and that stuff probably tastes like lamb chops to those as they eat a lot of it. I think good spirits like to possess those. I have my lamps decked out with purple light bulbs and they now resemble the more expensive Persian salt lamps.
