Not sure about humiliating you, but you do let go of your free will when you see something you like or want and get it. You could make the items yourself and to your taste to be truely individual. Its just sometimes easier to go for the result, and not the method to it. This is also how we evolve, building off our previous achievements.

Out of everything that exists, you only use the things to your individual taste. Its like fingerprints, they are all made out of skin but none are the same. This is what makes us individual, a difinitive line of difference. If we were all "one" that would be one ugly and massive human HAHA!

And ofcourse someone created you!! Your mom and dad. Even if your a test tube baby and born in a lab, the egg and sperm came from two humans. We are all a reaction to the interaction of mass.
