Did I unknowingly astral project in my dream?

I was just looking for some advice on a strange dream I had last night. Unfortunately I don't remember all of it.

I think there was alot of buildings around. Everything looked very grey. It looked like Earth but I don't feel it was. The atmosphere felt different from Earth. There is a football/soccer manger in England called Jose Mourinho. He manages a team called Manchester United. For some reason, he wanted me killed. But, I had the ability to fly and was flying around. That's all I remember.

I woke up with a strange headache. Also I have never tried astral projection. But part of me was left wondering if this is something I may have done? I'm not sure.

Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks.

My impression is that it is symbolic but I am not an expert on astral projection so I can't say for sure. But from a symbolic perspective it seems like it could be related to how you deal with grey moods. Do you struggle with depression at all? It is possible that a part of you tries to rise above feeling depressed. It is a useful skill but if we don't get to the root of the depression we will always be vulnerable to becoming depressed when life triggers us. I suspect the coach part may have to do with self sabotage. The part of you that is supposed to encourage and teach you how to play the game well is instead looking to kill you and get you out of the game all together. This could indicate you are defeated before you try anything and as such you sabotage yourself from trying things. In a lot of ways it is safer to not try then to try and fail. it is possible this is the root of your grey (depressed) world. The idea of failure is something you may need to let go of. Often in life we are given the impression that we aren't anything unless we are super successful but anything we do takes time and training but if we have a failure mindset we could see any set back or lack of skill from the start as a sign we are not capable when we really just have yet to build up the skill. In any event, if this feels like it is on track for you then take some time to understand what it means to know we can't fail. Nothing we do is a failure because we will have always learned from the trying.

I've never really felt depressed. But perhaps I have found ways of dealing with or repressing it. I will try to pay more attention to this.

You don't have to and probably shouldn't start looking for depression if you sense it isn't there. On some level you would have an inkling so it's very possibly it's not about your personal situation. An alternative interpretation could have to do with your opinions of life in general seeing it as negative and grey and those who are supposed to have our back and cheer us on being the ones who tear us down so you have a desire to get away from earth and humans and rise above the game of life. Do you have an over bearing boss or someone like that in your life giving you a hard time?

if and when you astral project, you stop dreaming, but there isnt really any "transition" between the two states I guess
