cardio fitness

hey im quite slim but my cardio is quite poor I feel. in running u have guys at events that overtake u and your like no way lol they are much heavier. anyone else have poor cardiovascular fitness for a slim running build. I hope it gets better as id love to be faster.

For myself I am happy there is an alternative to cardio.. Like weight training .. :-)

Being a slim runner is a good thing. It's all about strength training your legs. You also have to be persistent and consistent. Most importantly, you have to practice at it almost every day (P.S. please consult a doctor before taking any cardiovascular advice).

Find a marathon training guide online. It will teach you to start slow and simple and it will gradually increase your running routine.

I have recently gotten into jump roping and burpees for my cardio needs. Works wonders.
