Ideas and beliefs on this IMO are like ideas and beliefs about anything else.
If they help you find your way or make sense of things when you think you're isolated or losing your mind....then they are a great blessing.
If they inform you or aid you...they have freed you.
If they rule you...like religious ideology...then they have enslaved you.
The understanding gained from a belief or idea can be liberating and life-affirming.
The compassion offered from others can be a healing balm...the kindness of strangers is sometimes among the most sincere.
I have no criticism, nor would I ever take away from anyone's personal experiences.
I just have a request that everyone here look to their own souls as much as to anyone else's. Your soul is precious too.
And there is no need to suffer needlessly just because you don't understand why.
We'll probably never understand the "why" of these connections, if at all.
At some point, understanding doesn't even matter.
And I personally don't think any lessons learned and all that even come remotely close
to justifying the emotional and spiritual pain and hardship that result from laying your soul bare
& having it trampled upon, [defecated] upon, and cast off.
I think that bit is largely just a load of **** that we are fed throughout our lives,
used by some to justify the suffering of others and the inflicting of unkindnesses on others.
Kindness matters. Presence matters. Love and friendship matter.
If you're not getting that, you're better off alone or with different folks.
Just remember to love yourself and treat yourself with kindess and compassion ;)
Everyone is valuable. No one is disposable or of such little worth or value.
If that's the message you're getting or the treatment you're receiving...
I would disregard it and move on.
Let them sort out their own issues on their own dime...
No one is here to take abuse or unkindness or disrespect.
No one is here to be treated with disdain, apathy, or with harsh judgment.
Take care of yourself, because if you've endured this on behalf of a soul connection,
then clearly they are not looking out for you.
So you will need to put yourself first and take care of you.
And no matter what you've been told or how you've been received or treated, you are worth it.
