Seeing things....

Hello :)
I was meditating yesterday and going over some thought yesterday... i felt really good and was busy for just over a hr and the dog started to bark for too long... so I opened my eyes... and there I saw something...

lol I dont know exactly what I saw because it was faded away as my eyes were opened... maybe if the dog wasn't barking I would of been able to see into that spectrum longer... I will try to describe it.....

I was sitting on my bed when I saw it and when I did it I turned my vision towards it and that was probably mid waist area of what ever it was... as I started to try to take all of it in my focus was broken.. lol dogs..

From what it looked like to me... it seemed to be an outline of a being or possibly a group of beings.... not sure... I saw just the outlines and edges of the being... it was was clear or and rainbow colored... if you were to take some kind of clear plastic and add the color of the rainbow in the same way a crystal shins in the sun it would loook like that....

I couldn't make out exactly what I was looking at as this person had a lot of detail and it was fading away. Id say that I had a good look at this being for 5secs as it faded.

pretty neat as I have never seen this before...ive seen deep plasma colored beings while astral projecting or halfway in between...

I dont know what it was, and in the traditions I follow, you would be told to ignore it. That just as your human waking reality is a dream, so is any other experience. It's all experience, no one truer than the other. They say we get these things as another level of distraction. We train ourselves to sit, we get better at withdrawing the senses, better at ignoring the blah blah of the non existent mind....And just when we have nailed it, in come the distractions we have never noticed before! Dont let it stop you from going deeper with your meditation.

I lost my eyesight during the Vietnam War and was totally blind for about 5-years,
and when I was blind I learned that while we may look at something with our eyes
we will only see it with our awareness. When I was blind I saw things that I failed to
see when I had 20/20 vision.

I have had to go through eye surgery more than a dozen times over the decades to regain,
and stablize, my eye sight. Right now I am typing this with only one eye because having
gone through eye surgery about a month ago, my left eye is covered. But still I use my
feelings, my awareness, or presence, to see.

I have no idea what it is that you saw, or what your dog was barking at. I can close my eyes
and feel someone's presence when they enter the room, and explore their presence with my
eyes closed. What I am saying is that I can see with my eyes closed. Again, we look with our
eyes but we see with our awareness.
