What do you believe the "bright light" we see upon death is?

Part of it might actually trigger as you are coming 'out' of the near death experience. it is a brain perception processing thing.

Bright lights at near death experiences, are believed by a lot of people, to be a tunnel to the spiritual afterlife i.e. going to paradise or heaven reunited with all your loved ones, or going on to be reincarnated depending on your personal religious views, I have never had a NDE or know anyone that has, but I have read about a lot of NDE of other people, only once did I read about a NDE that there was not bight lights but darkness, so I guess I find out when the awesome big adventure begins.

Hello

I feel its the doorway to the other dimension you go to in death of the body. Like an energy portal of sorts. Its often called the "Vale".

It might well be there for us to see so that we can easier bridge that gap from life to death on an understanding level of letting go.
