I Don't Want To Know

a buddhist monk barely out of his cave now has a new inspiration for himself and he writes it down.

i dont want to know
i dont want to know evils
i dont want to know snabbing bible victimizations.
i dont want to know defiance
i dont want to know critizism
for good and for bad
so i look to my empty hands and contemplate i am a world to myself
i will start all over with love and will swallow my pride
i will start all over with love and will swallow my criticalism
i will start all over with love and will swallow my discomforts
i will win by satisfaction and resolution only
so i will,
speak no evil.
hear no evil.
see no evil.
And will only see obstacles and not evils and will bless the heart of the unborn in such way.

when the monk finished his announciation he spake much easier only the things he must say and nothing but.

This serves as inspiration and can be ever day to day contemplated as it is of highest levels of difficulty.

Sounds inspiring - but it's not really. Living with two special needs kids (Autism and severe ADHD) I've learned more about how the mind works and what really motivates us. Negatives don't work nearly as well as positives.

If I tell the girls at the swimming pool - "Don't run!" what they're hearing is the word "run" and that's what they do. If I say "Just walk please" they hear the world "walk" and that's what they do.

Seen from that point-of-view, the monk keeps waffling back and forth between "don't do that" and "do this" and doesn't end up with a clear mental image of what would be best.

I'm assuming you composed this yourself , aser's homie, since you haven't given an author or link.

To be honest it sounds to me a lot like the thoughts of a Christian rather than the 'inspiration' of a Buddhist monk .

with kind wishes,

Samana

Trying to just take off that extra baggage I suppose I wrote that summary.

Anything can. If only the keys to redemption could be spared, I would hang on to dear life.

So it's give me those keys or nothing.
Seems a bit selfish, but I think I understand you. =/

I didn't say key of anything other than what is already expressed in written. I didn't say "here are the keys" or "there are the keys" all I said is that look the keys exist.

I could add that keys to redemption are being connected with a godhood, or mother godhood, alliance to humanity's good.

please take a breather on me, Member.
