Dreaming of my dead? dog
So I had this dog during my childhood. We had to give him away. I lost contact with the new owner, so I never figured out if he’s alive. One day a few years ago both me and my mom dreamt of him on the same night. From her point of view the dog visited her and told her he died and wants to visit me. From my point of view I saw my mom come with the dog. Ever since then he visited once in a while. Last night he visited me again. He also visited my dad a few days ago. My dad doesn’t believe in this. I’m glad he gets to see the dog in his dreams.

i'm super reluctant to go in this direction, but it could be that your old friend
has become associated with "peacefully passing" from this world. the dreams,
of yours and your father, might be indicating that you'll wanna be extra
alert to the health of each of you, and/or someone else close to each of you
at this time.
