I would buy a nice, but not too expensive, condo in a city somewhere (with public transit, since I'd love to live somewhere where there's a subway) and invest enough money so I could live comfortably in said condo for the rest of my life. With any money left over, I'd use it to start various businesses/non-profits to help people.

Thank you, thank you for reminding me. I would like a cat sanctuary ranch with many, many individual large spaces where cats can go inside or out but be protected. Where we may introduce them so they live together or some may have individual homes, for a while or forever, whatever they need. I would have a full time vet and several companions/helpers and provide boarding for a fee to help make it sustainable, promoting veterinary supervised boarding for animals who need services like meds or subcutaneous fluids, etc. Part of the mission will be education of responsible pet ownership that we would take into the schools as well as provide during tours of the property and field trips.
