Chakra Meditation Help?
I wasn't sure whether to post this under the Chakras or Meditation subforum, but I figured this was more specific.
Last night, I meditated using a certain audio track that I had never used before. Though most of it included your typical induction phase by a guiding voice, calm music, and binaural beats, it also included a section in the middle asking me to visualize my chakras, one by one, visualizing their color and feeling them "open and resonating" within me. I'm not very knowledgeable in the field of Chakras and I will admit that I'm a bit skeptical, but I did my best in visualizing them and doing exactly what the audio told me to do. Unfortunately, all I could do was see them in my minds eye no different from when I would imagine something in my normal state, and felt absolutely nothing within me and nothing special seemed to happen. Maybe it's because I really have no idea what I'm supposed to do, but any advice on how to begin Chakra meditation would be greatly appreciated.

Opening and closing chakras is usually a very subtle thing. Some feel a tingling, or pressure.
For me it feels very similar to touching bubble bath suds.
Just keep practicing, and find out as much as you can about chakras.
All meditation takes a long time to get down pat, so dont worry if your not getting anything, it will come in time.

raise energy, be at peace and/or spend long hours meditating and they will light up like the sun.

I have always found it useful to breathe in through each Chakra point focused on the color starting at the root, then making my way up through each one like a ladder system. Worked for me :-)
As well Merlin's Magic has a great series of recorded Chakra Meditation music! Check them out.
