Can a medium channel or know what caused my spiritual awakening?

This gets complicated, I know. lol But we can cut cords and maintain mental control to the best of our abilities which can be very effective - it's a diminishing of the energetic connection through not paying attention to it and thus adding more energy to the connection and broadening the information flow. It's a matter of 'Where Attention Goes Energy Flows" so if we can diminish our emotional reactions to thoughts of the other and divert our thinking onto other things we do not add energy to the connection and increase it's happening.[/COLOR]

I'm not sure about the whole manifesting thing though. I mean, yes to a certain extent I feel we do control our reality, however, it is also a co- creation with other souls that we don't control (others free will). Lots of stuff involves someone else's free will, not just relationships, but even things like your job. That involves someone else's free will (the person whose job it is to determine who the company hires). It doesn't seem like the LOA people ever talk about this. Then when anyone doesn't manifest anything, its always because your blocks aren't clear, that is always their answer. What if you honesty feel that your blocks are clear but you still don't manifest something?

You are quite correct. Others free will certainly plays into it, but so does the intensity of the desire which is a form of fuel. So, for example, if I want a free parking space near the business I'm going into and put out my request to the Universe for a convenient spot to be free as I get there, but someone else has a bad hip and also puts out their request - their desire is fueled with more need and urgency than mine and they will get the free parking space. Ultimately of course I want them to have it being a compassionate person and not wanting to inconvenience someone in need, so we both win in that scenario.
And sometimes it just doesn't work for no discernable reason, however I always take that in flow as being for the higher good anyway - so again win-win.
As to manifesting larger more complex scenarios I find taking an hour or two a nd building a ceremony around it to help hold my intention on it for a longer period most useful, also using equinox's and portal openings, full moons and so on to give it a little extra energy boost. Each Equinox I set my intention for the next quarter and then watch it play out - it's delightfully amazing!

I agree about Divine Timing and also the trying to fix things. The universe saw to it that when the bulk of my spiritual awakening happened, I had the time off I needed. But I still kept trying to fix that situation.
