So you hear

I thought was found
Once more get lost

Now I don't
So you learn

What's the point
I seem to spin
So you wonder

Do you listen?
Do you see?
Do you feel?
If so what is missing?

Look and notice what you have.
Look and notice what you know.
Look and notice what is being.
Look and notice what can be.
Do you dare to walk the dream?
Do you dare to be the dreamer?

What seems lost
Is mearly hidden in the myst
What is desired
Can be seen
If one dares to dream
If one dares to notice
If one allows what comes, to be

Not a telling of how to be
Just a reflection of what is being
The wonder and noticing
You are as you are being
Nothing more needs to be known
Just trust in this, as told before
For it is all of life, of being.
Nothing is for naught

Some thing have yet to be revealed
Still, that is to be
What is being, is all there is
Even in the thoughts
Which is alright, if willing
For it to be as such.
Otherwise, just spinning around
In self made doubt and ideas.

What you know, you know
What will be known comes in due time
Patiance and trust are the keys
In feeling comfort and contentment
But, life is the journey
In experiencing what is given

What is this that I am?
May ask, but look around instead
Look in the mirror
A stranger gazes back
Why strange?
Not what is expected?

When did those lines appear
Upon a face once smooth?
When did the grey replace
The hairs' subtle hue?
When did the eyes reflect
A tiredness that seems deep?
Is this what I've awoken to?
Or am I still asleep?

Markings and scars,
Reflecting a life, well lived
But not over
Reflecting what
has been survived
And the strength
that still lingers

Although, the path
Seems to shorten
There is still more to travel
More to take in
and unravel

Some wisdom gained
Some sanity lost
Some things received
Payed some costs

Guess best to
embrace it all
As best can do
Give gratitude

What was far,
comes more near
What was misty
Now becomes more clear

So, it goes
As life here will
May be older,
But not over the hill
When that happens,
Know other hills await
To give further journeys
In which to take

The miracle of being

Why look to be something else
Ideas that somehow it is grander
Have a look at what is being
The wonder of this being
Barely know this being
Such a short visit being this
Why, spend time searching elsewhere?
The beauty and grandness is this

Willing to embrace what seems outside
Embrace what is with in
Such a wonderous creation
In and of itself
Meant to be here and to exist
Holds all the universe holds
In its tiny vessel of being

Able to dream and create
Visions of this world and others
Able to feel life buzzing around
Able to play in its wonder
Reflection of creation itself
Just a piece that fits into another

Looking for a miracle?
Look no further then this being
A Miracle given birth and blooms
Just by the simple act
Of existing as this being
With all the thoughts
With all the sensations
With all the interactions
With all the movements and changes

When else is this going to be?
This will never be experienced again
So, why search further?
The miracle is this being
The journey is of this being
To live and enjoy the pure act
Of this moment
All reflected through what is lived
And how life is unfolded

What is thought lost
Simply transforms
Into another image
Memories blend
Sometimes twist
What is occurring
Longing to hold onto
Some things passed on
Stored in stories
Told to remember
But, also causing
A sense of forgetting
Whispers calling gently
The presence brushing
Against the being
Reminding the mind
Reminding the heart
That love is always here
Nothing forgotten
Nothing is gone
Just transformed
Into other visions
Into other songs
Sung with in the dreams
Held dear with in the heart
