Yes, there is evil in the world, but you did not create it - you only create how you perceive it or react TO it.
For you see, I also know what is going on, but I distance myself from it.
As brutal and harsh as it may sound, I only care about myself - for my own sanity, mostly.
While most 'spiritual people' are all compassionate, empathetic, caring for every living creature and feel bad/sad for all the suffering in the world, I am of the opinion that unless I am directly affected, why should I care?
After a while of 'starving refugees'...'mass shootings'...'terrorist acts' which appear in the media on almost a daily basis, I know that the best thing that I can do as an individual is to raise my OWN vibes...because there's nothing else I can actually DO about the global situation...and so, total desensitisation is the unfortunate result of this almost constant bombardment with one 'crisis' after another. Sad, but true.
