Was this a past life dream?

I don't know if I believe in dreaming about past lives...I have a lot of dreams, but I'm not sure the significance of each dream. Let me tell you about my dream last night:

I was watching a young couple very much in love being well...very much in love. They were holding hands and kissing, and just beautiful to watch, glowing like God's angels. I've never seen these people before, they were in their late teens. Well all of a sudden the dream turns to the young woman in a hall of some sorts, up on a podium talking about the young man. She was saying that she would never love again. It was than I realized instinctively that the young man was murdered, and she was very sad and alone. Than the dream cut off once I realized I was dreaming and awoke. Was this a past life dream?

To make matters worse, when I finally had the courage to fall back asleep, I started dreaming AGAIN. It felt like I was continuing something...I started to see my ex boyfriend, who I was helping to wash his hair (creepy). It never happened in real life, so why would I dream about some past boyfriend after this dream? Please help me if you can...(can't ask my sweetie's opinion about this one<3) All these dreams are freaky...

first - what does your gut tell you?

second i think there is some past life connection where perhaps your ex was a child of yours. it sounds like the murder could have been either a fear dream or a past life dream - hard to say.

what did you see with regards to time period? was it modern times? 1800s? etc.

if you can be a little more descriptive, i may be able to help some. i'm seeing a few things right now but without more information am not sure at all that it's right.
