You know how they say poltergeist activity is caused by young people generally females whose emotions are so strong they cause paranormal activity to occur. Its just weird that most bad experiences happen to teenagers. I know that when I was young any scary movie influenced me, subconciously that could cause problems when messing with this kind of thing. So if your already afraid and with the way it seems that some teenagers( my friend fits in here nicely, wierd things always happened around her when she was younger) can manifest activity you have almost a kind of self fufilling prophesy. Or bad stuff/spirits.

Possibly many bad oujia board problems do involve real spirits. Maybe its easy for spirits to manifest around younger people. Less time for skeptical views to take root. I don't know for sure, just me speculating.

Kids are usually more susceptible to seeing phenomena & the paranormal. Usually younger children though, however, as they begin to report such things to their parents, (like for example, being able to see auras) they have been told that what they are seeing is not real and are taught to put it aside & not believe in it because society thinks it's "wrong". So as they get older they adapt to the way they were taught & stop seeing things, & generally just don't think about it anymore..
