Wondering what my higher self did to me

I was channeling with my higher self and there reached a point where he told me to reach my hands out..

I put my hands out palms facing down, then he put my hands under mine (palms facing down), then a black rope was laid on top of our hands and then the bottom left was wrapped over the top right and the bottom right was wrapped over the top left.

Then the black rape became engulfed by a transparent bluish aura.



Was wondering if anyone could explain to me what that did.
I think it was connecting me closer with my higher self so that he could guide me into other realms of reality. But would love a second opinion.

It sounds like a pagan handfasting ritual.

You are correct - your higher self was 'marrying' you to it, so that you would be aware of it's presence and consult it before making rash decisions.

Necro: Yes, I was totally referencing an infinity sign but I recognize I didn't write it in here. I looked up that ritual and it's crazy how similar it is! I had never heard of it before previously to now.

Yep Jorddy, it sounds like a metaphorical demonstration of the infinite eternal link between you and your higher self. An acknowledgement or 'wedding' of sorts. You now know firmly that you are composed of both physical and etheric aspects, and those are joined as One now.

My higher self did something similar once using divination cards. I was told my Sacred Union was not a marriage with another person in body but with Higher Self. It was a profound moment, moving me deeply. The energy around the moment profound and unforgettable.
