What is it like to have a NDE?

All this talk of religion, but it's how you live your life that is the all-important thing.
If you set out each day to do all the goodness and kindness that you can, and to do no harm to man or beast, then you are walking the highest path.
And when your time is up, if you can leave the earth a better place than you found it, then yours will have been a life well lived.

I have watched many NDE's, but its always interesting to watch different videos.
A great video for those unfamiliar with the concept.
Thankyou Knightofalbion.

my mother experienced this when she was in her late sixties.
she was driving on a mountain road when she went off the side into a ravine.
she said she immediately felt herself outside of her little truck as if viewing the scene. she saw herself slumped over the steering wheel with a cut to her head. she said she even saw her false teeth partway out of her mouth.
she said the two things that struck her were the colors, which were so vivid and she said there were colors she hadn't seen before. also she felt very calm. seeing herself did not disturb her at all.
luckily a man had been driving behind her and saw it happen and called for help. she had stitches in her head but survived that ordeal.

Highest Path
Yes, Knightofalbion: This is the path I desire to walk....this is my goal, to walk this highest path or as some Native tribes say, walking the Red Road.

I like reading Near Death Experiences. (the credible ones anyways). They are like having a window into the next life. I think they are more trustworthy they religious teachings and people's musings on what is coming.
