Homeopathy - constitutional remedies

Has anyone practiced this? I was into it in the 90's, and thinking about trying it again. I think it was a waste (for me) to pay a homeopathic physician, or it would be now, with all I've read and can grasp of it. It's very rooted in western alchemy, once you get the basics you can apply it yourself. You can use the materia medica, and try remedies, I think you can even order them online. Theyre inexpensive and it is very low risk to try something that may not help you.

ANyway i thought it had a lot of potential and was worth trying again. I noticed it didn't really take off so much, though, in alternative medicine, like so many other therapies and practices since then.

If anyone has tried it and got well versed in the remedies I'd love to get your input.

I recall a documentary about research done on Homeopathy. They used computers and machines to detect the substances, after they were reduced further and further in the water solutions. The machines determined that there was no remnant of the original substance in the final derivitive. Which is what is done in Homeopathy.

Here's the thing though, a shark it is said, can sense blood in the Ocean a mile away from the source. As well as other things such as heartbeat.

A shark is not a machine. Except in a biological sense.

I much prefer Dr. Reckewgs Complex homeopathy. Much more powerfull ime and can also be bought online.

I used various herbs, spices and essential oils to treat a range of minor ailments.

I've been seeing a homeopath and am about to start studying homeopathy.

Yes, you can treat yourself for certain ailments but it's not simple, and also homeopathy works on a very subtle set of different manifestations of an ailment, it's more about building a picture of the ailment.

There are things I've been able to treat myself - insomnia I did well. Other things - it's been more complex. For example, I had recurring "cystitis" which was non responsive to antibiotics, nor any homeopathic treatment I tried or the homeopath prescribed. So, unravelling more deeply, it was established as a "inherited condition" - so the treatment has to be done on a much more subtle level to put the pieces of jigsaw together. Homeopathy goes much much deeper and works on the psyche as well as the physical and state of mind.

I expect to finish my course more grounded, more together and with a strong element of integrated healing in myself.

Anyways - yes get a first aid homeopathy kit, and you will start to scratch the surface. Go visit a homeopath if you want to get to the heart of your being, including all those who have gone before, and to release the resultant "stuff" that is hindering your physical and emotional and psychic progress.
