And glenos - the thirst is part of the Journey to enjoy - imo.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.

A fascinating read, written by Anthony Borgia, supposedly from psychic transmissions to him from the spirit world from his deceased friend, Monsignor Robert Hugh Benson.

Has anyone else here read it? What do you think?

I have not read it. But I have read two fascinating books on
the same matter. (1) 'Embraced By The Light' - Betty Eadie
and (2) 'The Hierophant Of 100th Street' - Cullen Dorn.

Has anyone read either of these two? Unbelievable accounts.

Tabitha,
It is an amazing book - please don't stop there - there are more in the series.

Yes, let us know what you think.

I spent the evening with a woman who's husband died amd her mom within 3 weeks ---she has never read an NDE ---she is so depressed for years!

So I will hand pick 2 NDEs to send her...this Borgia series is a must , imo for people knowing there is more.

Will do. So far I am at page 205.

I'm just struggling a bit with the idea of real, physical, buildings, gardens etc out "there" somewhere. What are they made from? Where are they? I can't get my head around it - that's the bit that reads most - to me at least - like a fantasy.

I don't know, though. All of the things that have happened, and are still happening, in my house defy currently known laws of physics, but they really happened, and I know how frustrated I get when people refuse to believe me. So maybe I should suspend belief likewise when reading the book - who am I to say it isn't real?

Fantastic reading,isn't it?

I was fascinated that we have so much similiar 'there' as we have here but on a much more grander scale if I can call it that.

I have read the book three times!

You must be really into the book to be up still reading this early (late).

The buildings - all that we see according to Eastern teachings is made of Dreamstuff anyway. Ha! They've known this all along... Just a bunch of atoms 'looking'' like a table according to quantum physics...hail, the electron microscope!

"Out there" is a parallel dimension.
A favorite quote of mine from a Yogi around 1894 is
"There is no matter."
(Understanding this to their core they walk through walls and all sorts of things! And anticipate all mankind will 'get it' one day.)

Laws of Physics? Ask Jesus and other yogis about physical laws...ha!

In centuries passed many accounts of unvisited places in our own world would probably have sounded like fantasy. Accounts from travellers, reports about places, peoples, animals, climates etc. But eventually there would be so many similar accounts that doubts would begin to fade.

If you can, try to take your
belief out of the picture - not easy but if you can simply study and absorb what you learn without judging it, then you can read other material in the same way. When you've done that, when you've found the similarities, then a bigger picture may emerge. Not fantasy at all and a process similar to how our ancestors began to learn about a world they had never experienced.

Does it really matter that you don't know
what "....real, physical, buildings, gardens etc" are made from? Could you explain exactly what those in our own world are made from? Or exactly where familiar but distant lands are....?

If my own experience is anything to go on, it's nigh on impossible to get others to understand 'spooky' goings on be they in your own house or elsewhere. Frustrating I know but until they've experienced personally, or can access those experiences in another way, they simply won't get it.

Been there, done that, collected too many T shirts along the way.
