What kind of crystal is this?
https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...95&oe=5A5A1602
Bought this necklace because it was cool. I dont remember what kind she said it was, and im not sure from googling it. Its a pale green, maybe yellow-ish? With some brown, or maybe dark green at the end. I was hoping somebody here would know. :)

It could be a rough piece of Peridot. Google for pictures, that's what it looks like to me. Could be wrong - I'm no expert but love collecting varous small stones. Nice looking necklace.

Hello
I would say its Green Tourmaline sourced mostly out of Brazil. It can range different colors from one end to the other from browns, blacks or even a pink tone.

Green calcite. Not the pale green calcite, but the fuller coloured variety with honey calcite at the ends which is the brown and yellow you mention. SOmetimes white (prolly white calcite?) at the other end.
These usually are very smooth as they are dipped in chloride to keep parts from breaking of as it is fragile.
I've had two chunks of those, gorgeous! and what you got looks like one 'needle' from such a chunk. They're all points/needles, hence them dipping the chunks in chloride to prevent the points from coming undone.
Like this (picture too large, follow link)

Here's a few more specimen:

It reminds me of a piece of yellow kunzite that I have, but it has a greasy luster--it may be a piece of calcite!

I think Fairycrystal is correct, it looks like calcite to me as well. Pretty stone either way. Nice chunk of calcite in the picture you posted Fairycrystal. I love how calcite can be banded and have different colours.
