Donnie Darko & timeslips
Finally watched it yesterday, the directors cut.
Time is central to the story,,, slips, travel, reversal, hiccups.
Pretty awesome,touching, mindbending story...
Could see why so many folks recommend this one....

Not sure if he stole from David Lynch or Lunch copied his bunny (for his short)
I read the writer-director was only paid $9,000.
He also wrote-directed Southland Tales which was a total mess... and wrote, but didn't direct... Domino, that I really liked.
Anyway it's a classic I'm amazed I'd not seen till now.
Wonderful story that defies description.

Temporal "travel" is immensely important to our "new" understanding of reality-consciousness....and needs to be taken seriously. IMO
Those who try to make "logical sense" of such movies are missing the point...
as such realities exist outside of linear thought. Pretty much everyone here, knows that.

I LOVE Donnie Darko! Its one of the only few movies I own on DVD. Its definitely underrated by far. I will say though that Frank in the bunny suit freaks me out a little bit lol.
