Okay, so that's your contribution to the topic of pre-birth planning, pre-incarnation memories, and soul tasks. You say it's weird, and suggest it's all just stories and labels and personal truths that people make up.

This is the counterpoint to your point: As above, so below. Meaning, the processes of spirit are mirrored in every single process of the physical-material world. An acorn has a contract to grow into an oak tree. The source point of this contract is spirit or creation. Likewise human beings have soul contracts with this spirit source point. Not weird at all. The beginning of true understanding and wisdom in fact.

EDIT: I originally ended this post by saying, "But that's not the topic here, so I'll just leave it at that." But after reconsidering, it's not up to me to determine what the OP wishes or doesn't wish to discuss.

I realized this morning that I had walked right into your trap @Baile, and your twisting of my words shows me all I need to know about you. You had no intention of wondering at all because you see no value in it, or as you said you see less value in it than what you have come to know. But back to subject please. I would simply say that an acorn has a desire to be an acorn because that is its nature. Sure it can be seen as if the acorn have made a contract to become an acorn, but with whom then would it make such a contract? Like is there this place up there where beings sit and tells the acorn if you want to become an acorn you have to sign this contract that say you have to be an oak, or else you will be roasted on a camp fire! Like what happens if you on a soul level makes a contract, and does not hold up your end of the deal? And yes the same way as you way of perceiving the world is mirrored in every part of you, so is mine equally in me... above, below, left, right, inside-out... nothing special there to mention besides framing the word [equal]

I do find it weird, mostly because I do not believe there is anything in particular in the non-physical (as the word indicates), so I wonder if the contract merely is a reflection of ones physical point of attraction into the other side, and in that you project yourself into a world that from your point of view makes sense... and there it is a contract that helps you better grasp your physical existence... not because there necessary is one or not, but because having one at that point is exactly what you need to move forward in life.
