You can learn a lot from forum user-names and quite a few years ago, I was a member of the online community known as 4Chan as part of a group of online gamers and part-time hackers.
During that time, I learned many stupid, trivial things like "lolspeak" and "leetspeak" and how to successfully "Rickroll" people...call it "Troll School" and I was an ace student.
The user name of the OP..
"1337" is the numerical way of writing "LEET" which is troll for "ELITE".
And "d00d" or "dOOd" is troll leetspeak for DUDE (not dead).
Put them both together and you get "ELITE DUDE" which says "I am better than you are".
