Amethyst pendulum

Hello souls :)
I am new to the pendulum, and 2 weeks ago i brought a pedulum i got attracted to.
This pendulum is Amethyst which is also my birthstone.
I love playing with my beautiful pendulum. although i am confused on what to ask her.
I want to talk with my spirit guide and get to know him/her tho i have no clue where to start.
What is the best things to ask?
If anyone could help it would be a blessing.

Hi Kiki,
Ask simple yes/no questions. First ask questions you know the answer to, like Am I a female? Am I a male? So you know what the pendulums yes and no movement is.. frame all questions to have a yes/ no answer.
If you want to connect with your spirit guide, simply go somewhere quiet where you can be centred and calm and start talking, feel for answers with in you, before confirming them with your pendulum. Perhaps, ask your guide to give you a feeling/sign when they're with you and ready to communicate. Remember the more centred, grounded and clear minded you are, the easier it will be. Meditation is a great way to get you centred. The right questions will come to you intuitively. Have fun with it, and good luck xox

I have a several pendulums, one is a fairly large natural Amethyst crystal I use for healing, you can touch the area on someone that hurts or needs healing and the pendulum will start spinning, after a while it will slow and stop.. I find that a heavier pendulum takes less time. I have a 17 year old dog I use it on every day for his arthritis.. I do it every morning and evening.. he comes up to me and lowers his head and waits for me to get it out. I also spin it for my wife every day for her ill's. I even do it for myself.

learning to meditate will help train your mind to focus and quiet, both very helpful specifically and in general.
