The one that leaves

I'm curious - what happens to the soul that departs in a soul-exchange?

Do you know what Kari - I've been thinking about this all week but wasn't sure how/who to ask.

I'm glad you did.

I remain curious as to the entire concept of a soul departing during a physical life to be replaced by another soul, it seems on the face of it to stretch the bounds of credulity for me personally.

I assume it returns to the spirit world just as in physical death. If a spirit leaves the physical body, that's the place it will be.

I had not come across this concept before I came across this forum and must admit to being puzzled by it myself. It's not that I doubt it is possible - anything is - but I struggle to imagine the circumstances under which such a step would be necessary or desirable. I can only imagine them to be rare and extreme.

I've been meditating on this concept after trying to Google it with no luck :(

I agree with Westleigh in that it returns to the spirit world for healing etc .x

Well if we look at this from the point of spirit incarnating a physical form to experience something or learn something. Then it seems feasible that once that idea is complete they could be ready to return to spirit and let some other spirit have the opportunity to "move into" the body that is no longer needed.

I would imagine this would have some agreement between the two spirits, one returning home and the other getting to incarnate without having to go through the entire beginning of life process. And hey, who wouldn't be willing to skip the teenage years?!?

Just my thoughts on it.

For myself, being a walk in, this body's old soul has gone somewhere but just to another place, like receiving another occupation for work and then moving interstate. She did her work and passed her tests and moved on and left behind what she no longer needed which is what I am here dealing with now. Though I am only here temporarily, just to guard the body and clean the house up so to speak. The owner will come back sometime next year, I do not know, when this Galactic alignment/spiritual shift is supposed to happen. In the meantime I am privelaged to have my own experiences while I am here.

Mira,It seems that you feel that you are a walk-in, could you explain to us how that came to be? I've read books on the subject, and actually met someone who seemed to be one, though he was unaware, or it could be not everyone would understand the concept.I find the subject interesting.
