Sorry for one error I made in earlier post, instead of mother I meant grandmother.

From the 'Encyclopedia of World Mythology' edited by Arthur Cotterell p124
....'Loki was descended from giants, son of Farbauti, lived among the Aesir & was blood-brother to Odin.'

From the 'Usbourne Book of Greek & Norse legends' p81
...'Loki- His parents were two fire giants...Farbauti & Laufey.'

From 'Roles of the Northern Goddess' by Hilda Ellis Davidson p189
...'Fjorgyn, Frigg & Freya are the true aspects of the Goddess of the North. They represented her beings as Grandmother, mother & the daughter.

From 'The Goddess of the North' by Lynda C. Welch p125
....The Disir our feminine ancestors are the aspect of Fjorgyn, the grandmother. The Norms with the Frigg & the Valkyries with Freya.'

From the 'Vikings' by Johannes Brondsted p286
...'The Disir are the mysterious female beings related to the fylgjur & the Valkyries. They were worshipped at Uppsala.

I don't know anything about Laufey's other two children...Byleist & Helbindi.

Cat Thanks bunches, but still one issue.

I had not seen the Shadowlight sight before and it is very interesting, thanks a lot. Nalfey as a connection to Laufey still seems very vague however and I am not finding much if anything. I think I have some reference material somewhere that refers to Helbindi.
