She runs down the mountain to free her soul and on her way meets friends and demolishes foes.
She has no desire, no ready set goal, but the calling is so strong and everyone knows.
No wind can keep her still.
No flood can keep her down.
No nuclear bomb, no bath bowling sound
No battling ground,
No towering crown,
No lingering lounge,
No sinister secrets to leave all behind...

The powers that be they
Draw
And many a day to their
Close go
With the very last breath
Of a dying body
A whisper
And a beyond it
In the silence after
A choir
An echo of nothing
Urging us to rise
With it we rise again
To our fragile missions
Relentless pursuit
Of the pattern we paint
That one day gives it all
Away.

Lots of hands these days
And they are reaching.
Receiving.
Sensing
Lots of feet too.
Barefoot and free
Roaming the glass-clad
City streets
Safely
As always
Lots of new faces these days
And they are speaking.
Mimicking.
Voicing.
Lots of new voices too.
Raw to the bone
Running up and down
My spine of spines.
Always.
And little red was never here
No riding hood left
when we got started
Now a man stands looking
Down the barrel of a gun
And though I'm reaching she is just
Allowing
And though Im speaking
She just enjoys.

And the old woman of the trees chanted
And enchanted
Ears were filled with the ancient cries
Of a dying time
And the power to stop it.
Warriors armed with the strength
Of eons now rizing
Building in the Shallow a tide
And the tide shall rize
And all before it
Will fall
As the song turns into jubilation
And all souls are freed.

The man has never been,

Man is all I am,
she said and birthed
Only love
Like a sun
Licking the wounds
Of broken souls,

I cannot bend life
Force it
In my direction
I cannot keep
The ones I love
If Life needs them
To leave.
I cannot rest
When I keep trying
To bridge the gap
Between completeness
And separation.
We are apart.

It's our glorious gift
