Part of manifesting new friendships is allowing yourself to be guided into the right situation to meet those people. This often means putting your standard egoic decision making aside when you feel the nudge to do something you might not normally try.

From my own experience, I think there are a few possible reasons that I don't have a big social circle. I have people whom I can talk to about things, but they are not physically nearby. I am not a social butterfly. I feel fair-weather friends is a waste of time.
My channeler said that I was emotionally closed because of some trauma. So I had to be more emotionally open, to allow others into my life. It is true that I am not the type to talk unless necessary. One of my reasons for joining this forum is to make myself talk!
I find that affirmation or intention doesn't well work for me in this case. I feel that there is something negating or blocking my intention, and I haven't figured it out yet. I am not sure if my channeler can identify it for me. Perhaps the time hasn't come for me to release it yet.
