Balance in all things brings balance for all things connected.
So even thoughts creating ideas about the nature of self and others in my understanding of balance in me over such matters doesn't see that place your mind is thinking. Emptiness in me of such thoughts and balance in my own liberation is simply being myself. When I can't see something in my comparison I know it's my own balance believing in my thoughts that there is no more to open to in self to go deeper into balance and understanding of myself and others. When I freed myself from comparisons in general I felt liberated from comparisons and thoughts believing otherwise. Plus empty space in all thoughts is the arising new seed of potential in that liberation. With balance as always moving in that too.
You don't lose what is important in liberation of self. Everything connects to you and your movements in that becoming. There is no selfless/selfishness in liberation, how can there be?

Yes sure I can also look at this that there no more to open to in myself and therefore I'm really only passing up on an illusion anyway with regards to liberation. In fact I feel quite liberated but the main thing is now I'm genuinely happy where before I was always conflicted and thinking that would lead to a different kind of happiness.
Like I alluded to with Gem. It doesn't really matter to me now what I am or what Self is. What matters is that I am. I don't know what I am but I am and consequently there is you. That works for me.

I see.
Well the I AM continues with it's life. What matters is what you decide for you as that. In liberation the purpose of itself is to "feel" free from constraints and resistance to what is. So seeing things more directly leads one to not needing to find themselves in things, more immerse and enjoy life and what it has to offer as the I am.
When you stop seeking to find yourself and come to know yourself, there are opportunities in learning new things as you now feel and are. And as you continue to age and change, that to moves with you in the learning of new as you are, where you are in life.

One can be open without any expectations or one one can be open with expectations. I have no expectations of growing or having opportunities to grow come my way.
I'm just kinda being.

True. I let go of all expectations towards others in the past to free my own awareness of life in me up.
As for just being, with an understanding of what Buddhism conveys as its core teachings, I am sure you will find yourself in there in those ways you are showing yourself in this thread.
The way we find ourselves to just "be" and feel content in who we are, has many ways within the "one way" . So its not so much what the teachings are going into great detail about that interests me, more the awareness of what Buddhism in me as my true nature can open too more naturally aware of itself.
Life is a good teacher and so is Buddhism. In life we can learn just as much through a conscious self reflective nature, open and willing to see the truth of yourself and life as it is. The rest is really the philosophy training one to find themselves to live as they choose to live.
The monasteries as gem often describes is a choice of lifestyle.
Where it supports what it does it's own way.
My choice of lifestyle is mine
Yours is yours.
The greater context and deeper understanding in more open truthfulness doesn't leave me in being myself or choosing the life I choose as that.
I take myself as that everywhere I am.

You seriously need a new emoticon.. It's like sinister gloating laughter.. a tad repetitive ,if I was feeling annoyed.

Do you see apart from mind? I can't but I can be mindful.

The mind sees all, but sometimes it only sees what it wants to see, like labeling others ' obstinate blind '.

Spirituality is about finding the truth out for yourself.
Not about blindly following dogma - especially if it doesn't resonate or appeal to you.
