Tarot exercise
Since the internet was down for a couple of days (you don't realise how reliant you are on it until it's down) ... I've been doing some book work with the Tarot.
I came up with an idea for an exercise, which I thought may be interesting and help us to learn more about the cards.
I will start with a card, which is picked through random shuffling and then leave one word to describe an emotion I feel is associated with that particular card.
The next person also picks a word that they feel has an emotional response for the card which I picked, and then picks another random card, and leaves a word for that card, and then the next person does the same, etc, etc.
It doesn't matter what deck you use, but it might be helpful if people put which deck they got the response from (or not, I don't know, I'm just winging it). I thought maybe just keep to upright cards, as not everyone does reversals.
Does that make sense? Any takers?
I'll start (as an example):
Knight of Cups Llewellyn deck
Solemn
Then the next person puts in a word that they feel from this particular card (they leave a word that describes the card from their particular deck) and then choses another card ...
It may help to give other perspectives and be quite interesting to see what sort of things people come up with, based on their decks.
