Zeitgeist is inaccurate when it comes to describing the origins of Christianity.

It is true that the Jesus myth is not as original and speshul as most Christians wish to believe. But Zeitgeist has a lot of iffy info concerning it. Although, it is a starting point, if one has the will to research the matter more.

Yes.

I think it's possible that there was a guy named Jesus who was a rebel. Later on, he became an example, and was worshipped.
As his story reached the other countries, the people there tried to understand it according to their own myths and cultural beliefs.

It however does not mean that there was no Jesus at all of course..
