Actually there is a reason. The body heals itself when asleep, more then when it is awake and active. The brain shuts itself down in order to maximize the benefit resting produces and gives us. I know when I get a good nights rest I wake up refreshed and usually feeling much better but if I don't get a good nights rest just the opposite. I just see this as a biological function the body knows. The body is not made to remember and be in an agitated (wakened) state 100% of the time, we know this is not healthy. We forget.

Yes I agree this a very good explanation. I too believe that everything is in perspective and relation to everything else. What is suffering to one is completely enlightening to another. There is an interesting perspective on energy synthesis . com on laws of Polarity (as I am not a "master" I cannot post it.) Perhaps my not being a "Master" negates the validity of my input LOL
