Yes, so I've heard in the Americas...right here...Native American masters. Thousands of years ago.

Yes, I've heard that as well.
Which gets me thinking.
The tribes honor and respect the elders (both men and women) for their experience and wisdom. They pass along the history, stories, and teachings.
It has me wonder, in this "modern" age, how much does the general society do this? How much gets lost in understanding ourselves by not respecting and listening to what the elders have to tell? |

Reminds me of HOW islam is propagated by way of Hadith ( Prophet Mohd's actual spoken words) versus "words/phrases" written by his followers some 1400 years AGO. Same goes to Christianity in which we are taken back to some 2000 years back to learn about Jesus's life!
There also remains HOW Jesus had traveled to India during his missing years to which many Christians find it difficult to accept. All in all WHEN can ppl move away from organized religion and re-focus on "inner engineering" for self realization?
