What happened to me and why?

When I was 18 I had just had a row with my boyfriend and he got out of bed to sleep on the sofa.I lay there for awhile then I heard as what can only be described as a 'buzzing noise' which surrounded me.It was then I felt like a force field encased me and something was trying to force my eyes closed.I tried to scream and silence.Couldn't move either.This battle of wills went on for some time as I felt if I closed my eyes this 'thing' would win and I would lose control.The noise stopped a bit like a suction noise and I was free again.I ran to get my boyfriend.It's never happened since but something I have never forgot now in my 30's.No,I was not asleep or dreaming,to busy being upset at the time.Not long after I found out I was pregnant and my child has gone on to have a devastating degenerative disease,like her father.I sometimes wonder was it a warning,or something trying to stop me sleeping with him that night?I don't know.Any insights?

You say you sometimes wonder if it was a warning? do you think it was? I'm interested in hearing other's opinions. My gut feeling is that your experience really had nothing to do with your pregnancy or child. I think this was a spiritual experience. One time I can't remember if I was awake or asleep but I also felt like you did I felt buzzing and heard it and couldn't move or get up for the life of me, but there was a being, almost alien looking down at me. Did you see anything while this was happening?

I feel you may have experienced was about to be what is known as astral projection, what accompanies it are 'side effects' like how you describe, just before you exit or even just before you fall asleep. Take a look at the AP Board, it will help.

Also when pregnant with my first child I had many spiritual experiences, the body's energy goes through many changes. Barbara Brennan helped me understand what was happening.

oh wait a minute what if she was experiencing the soul of her baby going into her baby???????????????????????????????????? I've never been pregnant has anyone who has been pregnant had this feeling and said "wow my baby's soul is in my child now"
