I don't have any kids, but if I did, I would let them make their own minds up about any religion.
Religion is not a subject to be forced on others. It is for them to decide.

Thanks for mentioning those verses and your experiences, Miss Hepburn. I've been interested lately in some of the verses of the Bible, taking them apart from religion, per se, and letting them stand alone on their own power. I've also experienced some of the truths in those verses you mentioned, and I'm trying to delve more deeply into them.

Thanks, too, hazada guess. I also would let my child make up her own mind, even if I might give some descriptions about my experiences and what's worked for me. What has worked for me changed so much over time and it still might change a lot, and what works for others might be totally different.

Thanks for the thoughts, everyone. I guess I'll probably be away from this forum for a long time now. I have a big project which is taking up all of my energy and time and attention (but not something I can really describe very well. I guess it's a secret too, in a way). But it's been nice talking and hearing all of your ideas.
