Oh Belle, one has definitely got to have coffee! I adore it and it's my favourite friend in the morning! My favourite is called "Lazy Sunday" ground coffee (I think that might be just a UK thing) but it's yum!

For dinner, we're having bubble & squeak (minus the meat) with a fried egg on top. Yum in my tum and straight to my bum!

I absolutely adore bubble and squeak !!! It's a fab dish.

And Tobi I haven't seen that coffee, I'm a UK girl!

I've got lazy pasta on the stove with a delish tomato sauce ... and a bucket of melted cheese!

Black ground coffee.
Organic Victoria plums, picked from the tree 10 minutes before breakfast (on my morning walkies) organic golden plums picked the same way....sesame seeds, ground flax seeds, pumpkin seeds.
Banana
some caramel chocolate eclairs with dark orange flavoured chocolate.

salad with chick peas, organic cucumber (picked 5 minutes earlier) pea shoots (not organic but tasty) organic green beans blanched, chives from the garden, with new redskin potatoes freshly dug and cooked straight away.
Some unroasted cashew nuts.

Hungry day!

I've just prepared 'no-cook rissoles' from The Cranks Recipe Book.

They look....weird. Here's the recipe, if anyone's interested.

Mixed nuts 100g
Cottage cheese 225g
Parsley, chopped 45ml
Onion, finely chopped 1 tbsp
Salt & pepper to taste
Sunnybisk or Weetabix breakfast cereal, crushed 3

Roughly grind the nuts. Combine the cottage cheese, nuts, parsley, onion and sufficient salt and pepper to taste. Shape the mixture into 4 'cakes'. Coat in crushed cereal and refrigerate until required.

Cottage cheese and Weetabix? Sounds bizarre. We shall see.

Bubble & squeak is potatoes and cabbage. Cook them first, roughly mash the potato, then fry them (together in the same pan) until golden brown. Traditionally served with bacon, but just as delicious without. I like it with brown sauce and a fried egg on top.
