jojo95 One thing to be grateful for is that all the scans and tests your mother had have not found anything, so that's a good thing.
Her husband may have bossed her around, and overpowered her will, but she may still have been terribly shocked about the loss of him, and her grief hit her hard. It's not unknown for people to be inordinately fond of someone even under what appear to be negative circumstances.
Grief can cause the body all sorts of symptoms.
I have heard of cases of vertigo which are hard to diagnose. I am guessing she was referred to an ENT specialist?

Your Mother needs to see her doctor if the symptoms persist vertigo could be caused by an ear infection. maybe she needs a balance physio session, I have had all of them but its just Vertigo in my case.
But grief is a funny thing not always visable but it can cause a lot of aches and pains. I would advice she sees her doctor.

This thread was started well over 18 months ago and one might reasonably assume that by now the medical issue has been looked into.
