Does anyone use this 'bulletproof coffee'?

hi all,
There seems a whole lotta buzz around this bulletproof coffee of late, I know someone who has jumped on the bandwagon. Now given that this trend is being popularised by an enepreneur and not a dietician, that has to set off alarm bells. I'm of the camp that says ingesting 2 tablespoons of butter (grass fed or not) in a coffee and nothing else for most of the rest of the day is not how nature intended us to look after ourselves.
I'm just fairly sure that this is putting someone's life in danger, especially given they are already a smoker and pretty much use this stuff as a food substitute. Has anyone had any experience with longer term use of this stuff?
Thanks guys.

I have done a little reading about it and the objective view is that it works to suppress the appetite but is most definitely not healthy. I personally use coconut oil in ginger tea every morning, only a small dab, definitely not two tablespoons, maybe a teaspoon. Ginger aids in digestion and also helps with energizing, along with the coconut oil which is still a fat, just not as unhealthy as butter, will help with appetite suppression, it also helps with regularity and many other things, but I still eat with it, just not as much due to feeling fuller to begin with.

Long term, no.
Short term, yes. After reading the ketogenic book, 'Keto Clarity'.
As I recall I used coconut oil.

Thanks for the reminder, I'll do it tomorrow again in my coffee.
I loved it...mental clarity was amazing...first day.

I do remember having an egg, also...but looking at the clock, 6 hours had gone by
with no thought of food. It was great....I ate anyway, but I didn't need much.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru
