Many people have been taught that haiku is a 5-7-5-syllable form of poetry. In Japan, they don't actually count syllables at all, but sounds, and it's a sort of urban myth that haiku should be 5-7-5 syllables in English, despite how widespread that belief is.

Got this info off the web, what now Ziu LOL.. looks like the rules can be loosened up a bit.


Silent slivers of light
Enter the heart giving sight
I blinded from birth


Running faster now
The winds are starting to blow
Dark clouds forming GO


In this moment know
I am behind you always
Should you trip and fall
