Quiet Meditation

Meditation is not something we do rather meditation is something that we let go to.
Our greater, deeper, being is in a constant state of what we humans call “meditation,”
and when we let go of our thoughts, mentally and emotionally let go of this physical world,
we can consciously join with that pure flow of connection to our deeper being.

Everyone is possessed by something, for at our core we are clear, transparent beings.
Translucent and untainted; but everyone takes on various hues, various qualities,
energies that are not germane to their purest nature; a nature which is beyond words and thoughts.
Energies other than what we may experience when we let go to silent meditation.

Everyone experiences some sort of possession; and we call these possessions “good” and “evil,”
or good and bad, etc. Our possessions are based on conditions, just like human love, and hate,
is conditional. However, in meditating on inner silence we can experience unconditional love.
Nothing can possess us unless we indulge in it; open up to it, or allow it to inhabit us.
Unconditional love, in my opinion, is our most natural state.

Within us, we have a love that transcends human conditions, it transcends good and bad;
it transcends reasoning. An experience, which can expand our being, our consciousness,
to encompass all states of being; from the micro to the macro. Meditation is a tool,
which we all have available to us, but it is not separate from us. Regardless whether we meditate
or not that river, which we call “meditation,” is always there within us.

God, the universe, creator, or however we might view that supreme intelligence behind all creation,
never leaves us. It is we who vacillate; come and go; dipping into that flow of our greater Self
and then backing away from it. Meditation on inner silence wins our internal battles for us.
It is a dialogue, a commune, unlike that which we have with our mind; our thoughts and emotions.
This I share here is my experience.

Nice post Starman

I prefer meditation that comes to me rather than me going to meditate, but everyone has their own preferences.
