One mans arrogance is another mans humility.
One mans greed is another mans generousity.
It's hard work to just let others go about their business and not be the moral vanguard we think they might need. Remove yourself from the judging and they will have the space to see in themselves what they are.
Our own reactivity should be a call to look deeper in ourselves and find why we define in others what we no longer seem to have in ourselves.
It is glorious that such things exist for only by having them can they be realised and transformed.

In the community I live in, we encourage each other in our arts of life - for instance, raising decent kids, growing a fine food or decorative garden, or doing well with house building, cooking, woodworking, community service or land-use planning. Example: a welder who makes something useful of steel for a customer or a friend may feel justifiable pride in doing a good job on something: making this or that, which is in a way the outcome of, say, fifteen or twenty years of practicing metal work to professional standards.
It's not competition with friends, neighbors, or the Divine, in my opinion.
If a person does well in some such thing, I believe they may feel some pride in it, and that's okay. One can feel gentle pride in such things and not be arrogant, not be convinced of one's own superiority... not be blocking out feelings of gratitude for life's blessings.
So I'd say "it all depends".

can I join your community? Hehe...
I have never really understood some things in I guess what is termed 'new age' spirituality...
one of those things is 'negative emotions'...
In my experience both pride and anger have helped me and catalysed positive transformations... without anger I would never started to question things which upset me in the world... I have used the energy of anger to get me motivated to make changes in my life and community where I felt I could... the anger I felt actually became empowering... during this active process my anger transformed into love and passion for my cause.
pride has also been helpful to me... I am proud of my achievements... I take ownership of them because they are something to be proud of... pride made.it ok for me to say 'I am strong and courageous', I take pride in my work... because my heart is in it... taking pride... is taking stewardship Gentle pride in what I do simply says to me that I care about what I am doing.
I really just wanted to add my little perspective on this.

It's not a formal community like the Amish or Hutterites or Zen Buddhists or Trappists, and not a new-style intentional community... just a place, a valley.
Besides, I know you were joking...
