I received a warning in a dream

I had a dream that I am worried about.
I was in my apartment, it was 8 am and I was alone, looking at my computer. Suddenly, a pillow on my couch changed its shape like someone was sitting on it, but that someone was invisible.
I suddenly felt a great fear, not because of the presence itself (I had a lot of interaction with spirits in this kind), but because I felt its anger.
I set down on my knees in front of the couch and beg the spirit to tell me what he/she wants.
A box of mine began to move. In this box I usually keep artifacts, a very small Jewish prayer book, some crystals, small Egyptian statues, a gold ingot, letters from important people, pendants and old coins.
On this box there was a note that said something that can be translated as:
“Don’t speak of it” or “Don’t say it”

I believe there was a gipsy witch. I recently read a book about gipsy sorcery and fortune telling and I spoke of gipsy witches and I think I did this on a Friday.
Could this be the cause of my warning?

the simplest meaning of this dream is that it warns
you to not empower anger (nor fear).

okay, if it's deeper then we need to look deeper i suppose.
my sense is that you'll be on your own in achieving a full
understanding of it... due to the opening line ("i was alone"),
and also because the note was found on the box containing
artifacts of intimately personal import to you.
the unseen being might be representing someone who was
hurt in some manner due to actions you've taken previously;
it may be akin to the butterfly effect -- something you'd done
has had ramifications far beyond what you could foresee.

i don't understand the connection between the earlier warning
and the gypsy witch. are you saying that a gypsy was within
the dream somewhere? i greatly doubt that you incurred a
curse of some sort, simply by reading a book... if that's what
you've suggested.

i believe that the purpose for your dream would've
been to inform and enlighten you, if indeed there was a purpose
to it -- certainly not to punish you, nor engender fearfulness.
