Morning all!

It's the final day of my off-site gig; the weather has turned here recently and it's now getting chilly again! Brrr.

I'm a bit sad things are ending, but excited for the future ahead. The lady I'm technically working under here is happy to act as a referee; I'm waiting to be called back by my other go-to referee as well. All systems go!

~5.5 hrs left at this gig, then I go back to the motel to unload/pack my bags, then drive back to my home city :) Hopefully it will be a nice drive back; more eveningtime (so less stimulation) and arriving in the main city after evening peak hour traffic. Will also be aiming to take breaks ~30-45mins, grab something to eat and walk around a bit etc.

tealily, amazing how you can focus on you when your work life is less stressful.

Take your last post and paste it on your bathroom mirror.

Have a happy week!

No Clover, Muscovies do not migrate. But they can be shipped interstate. I saw a news segment the other day in Florida after the hurricane, on the infestation of mosquitoes and bacteria. In the background of the reporter they had 5 or 6 Muscovies milling around. If there are Muscovies, they have no mosquitoes or their larva, lol. Hubby and I had a good laugh.

good morning friends!!

I am doing well. I went thru the entire summer with a stuffed up nose. for the last two years no sense of smell...but I am happy to report that I am finally getting some smell back. been smelling all kinds of things since Friday. they aren't lasting but they are becoming more frequent. today so far seems to be the longest.

I went to my ENT on Saturday, and while I still have a slight sinus infection, he prescribed prednisone and penicillin. hopefully the penicillin will do the job that the anti biotic didn't.

Morning all. a Slooowww morning here. It's overcast outside. I had to turn my heat on today. Just enough to boost the temperature and then I can turn it off again

All my house chores are done and even laundry is caught up. I did it all yesterday.

Jojo, hopefully they can get your sinuses cleared up for good. I use a electric irrigation system daily on my sinuses. It makes a world of difference. I won't even describe what I used to irrigate out. If you want the name of the product let me know. If not, I understand.

Happy Monday Everyone!

Morning all!

@linen - haha, you're right, I am clearly a different person when less stressed. It's a nice place to be in :)

I don't have to use any sinus rinses but have noticed things getting a bit 'cloggier' upon waking compared to when I was younger, it's annoying so I'm sorry linen and jojo go through worse :(

Today I am at home having a 'recovery day' before resuming work tomorrow, which is nice. I am looking forward to ticking some things off my list (new job applications inclusive!).
