How old are your crystals or gemstones?

As for the leeching... yes, that comes with working with them yourself. I like and need the energy field in my home, formed by the crystals, if ppl would leech I feel that'd disturb that too much.
Also, I have some crystals that are either quite rare or of such quality that even people who do not want to leech have begged me to take photos down as it was too tempting to not do it, haha. (I had posted a photo on my own spiritual forum with a small group of people I trusted to show them the crystals I'd bought. Crystals most had never even heard of.)
I have one Leandro crystal skull. Once posted a photo from quite a distance, not to show the skulls, but my meditation room. My crystal skull group was in the distance.
And STILL people noticed the Leandro skull, even though he wasn't even facing the camera and far away. Stuff like, "OMG, what is that! So beautiful!" and so on.
I couldn't believe it! I had actually made an effort to kind of hide him from view, putting another somewhat larger skull in front of him.

So yes, I am careful and reluctant to show my crystals, hihi. Personal crystals is different from home-deco crystals. Then I'd likely feel the way you do about it. And like you say, the crystals would then possibly like that too. Mine don't.

Interesting way of looking at the crystals Fairycrystal, I have never thought about it in that way before, but it makes sense to have different energy with a different usage for crystals.

My wife is way more sensitive in the energy aspects, and she knows how to work with them, but much like yourself, she uses smaller, sometimes cut and polished specimens. She is very much like yourself and keeps them very personal, in fact she is even guarded explaining their usage. Just recently I heard her admit she doesn't ask of anything from her crystals...except harmony.

Interesting story about the crystal skull. Must be a beauty/and or/ have a great energy about it.

I might prefer to set up this virtual tour with photos as you say. To me a 40 minute video inside my house might be a little invasive for my first youtube video, with photos I can control it a bit more. I will make sure I give multiple photos on each specimen with a writeup or story on each. I don't mind telling you guys the location in the home and a history of the crystal.
