To quickly put one into the mood:

Love Sufi music – very trance inducing.
Loved the philosophy - what I have heard of it.
Love Rumi.

And how could these fit as a fiddle Chechen Sufis not feel elated during and after the dancing!

I suppose my main interest would lie here:

The form of Sufism present in Kazakhstan was originally born through the contact between Islam and the local Central Asian traditions, most notably Shamanism and Tengriism.

I love Sufism, Sat Naam...getting in touch with God within...the mystical aspect of Islam.
God is all there is...this place a reflection.
Within, within, within.
But, no, I can not call myself a Sufi...but I follow a similar Path...with no name.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Are Sufi's removed from the Western culture of Oceania?

If so, what is the difference between a just one Sufi and an only one Sufi?
