Holding off on this one this year. I am open to the idea of purchasing this oracle in the future but holding back and waiting for reviews to come in. Heck, the deck aint cheap either 30.00 +. I can highly respect Colette Baron Reid used two additional writers on this deck; an archaeologist and an academic specialist in south American studies to create the guidebook. I am just not sold on the images I saw on youtube reviews ( Video Here). It looks like she used the same illustrator as The Good Tarot ( or similar). In my opinion, the images look washed out and are overkilling that fantasy world thing a bit ( says the member who owns the Magical Mermaids deck). I have tons of unused feel good oracles collecting dust, so I am kind of weary on buying more oracles right now. At any case, give us updates Monkey and Pandora! I want to see them in use! Heck, use them here

Oh, Alana Fairchild just released a very similar deck called The Earth Warriors Oracle. Toni C Salero is also releasing a Shamanic themed type deck soon. There must have been a push of this subject/theme this year. I personally like The Sacred Vision Oracle cards (released not too long ago either). The author is also a PHD specialist in indigenous studies, I always find that aspect very important if your going to sell a book using cultural influences, imho

I do have an oracle arriving in the mail today! The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit Deck.... I pre ordered this one many months ago ( it's out of stock for now) Kim Krans style is not everyone's cup of tea, simple sketches, masculine, and dark... but I love it and have been waiting all year for this! *fanning out*

Will definitely let you know what the oracle deck is like as well as use it on the forum. It will be a new experience for me, so should be interesting.

I had a look at The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit Deck - definitely not to my taste personally. Looking forward to a review from you on it though.

@Clover
It is the same artist (Jena DellaGrottaglia). She does all of CBR's decks. I do like her art style but this deck won't be joining my collection.

LOL Will defiantly give a review, Kran does have an acquired fan base , I find you either love or toss it. Her Wild Unknown Tarot Seems to be the most traded deck too.

I have to say, I am in LOVE with this coyote from the Mystical Shaman Oracle. I am really curious about the guidebook.....

This one is kinda cool too. Hmm.. I don;t know, the more I research the more the images are popping out. LOL Youtube videos are probably not doing justice to the images. I am very interested to see what folks say about it for sure!

Hi, PM. Funny I was just watching the Hermit's Cave review. I love his back ground and tarot collection. LOL

The thing is, I over did it with card purchasing the past couple of years. I have so many oracles and they are just collecting dust. There is nothing I don't have from mermaids, Egyptians, Tao culture. At this point, a lot of the themes/illustrations get repetitive. A 30 dollar oracle will have to wait for now, I am saving up for self published tarots at the moment and they are so expensive, but unique and different from whats available in the mass market.

It is a very lovely oracle though, would love to see it in use from people.

I think the Mystical Shaman Oracle is absolutely stunning. It will be interesting to see if I "connect" with it. If not, it will be another one for the collection. I love the artwork, and yes, you're right, The Coyote is divine! Damn, still got soooooo long to wait until it arrives. Very frustrating!!

I wanted the Bohemian Cat Tarot deck. Nearly had a heart attack when I saw how much it was going for, as it's no longer available. Unfortunately as much as I'd like to have it in my collection, it ain't gonna happen, lol.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how the oracle works. I'm so used to Tarot, it will be very different to use I think. We'll see ...

Ah, well if your new to oracle, I think you will really like it. I own The Wisdom of The Oracle by the same author, now that is one powerful deck, she really delivers a great message, short and to the point and many times gives you a good slap of truth or as Tealily says, " B slaps from the Universe"

I wish I could own the Bohemian cats, cutest deck ever. Nah, I am keeping my budget below 100.00 LOL

Hopping back to bed, had a bit of an insomniac attack and look at me blabbing and researching cards when I really should be sleeping and saving money, smh, LOL.

I have 3 Colette Baron Reid decks, the Wisdom of the Oracle, Wisdom of the Hidden Realms, Enchanted Map. For a while I only used the Wisdom of the ORace, the other 2 were 'shelved'.
But now, as I'm doing readings on a regular basis for my YouTube channel, I use them a lot more, and funny enough I use the Wisdom of the Oracle deck least while it was my go-to deck for quite some time. Suddenly I'm feeling the added value of especially the Enchanted Map, but also the Hidden Realms. So now the Oracle one is shelved more.
I'm also using my Wicca Pack by Sally Morningstar, that I bought when I was still training with her, an English hedgewitch. I hardly ever used them, but they prove to be very valuable now.
Heck, I'm even using Doreen Virtue's decks, which never were on my list of favorites. When I bought them I was a newbie when it came to cards. I sold 2 of her decks, now I regret having sold her Goddess deck as I sometimes really need that.

I might buy the Mystical Shaman Deck at some point. I've used it a number of times online and I like it.
But as Clover said, the price is steep. I feel some E20-E25 is more than enough for a deck.
Oddly enough I see it for sale for $49 = E40 and for L30 = E35?
A 5 Euro difference?

They're only £18 here (UK) that's $25 (US). I wonder why they're so much more expensive over the pond?
