A walk through time.

There was once a time family's spent nearly 24hrs a day together or at least working together to survive. That was a simpler, less politically correct, yet harder time. but then people took pride in what there were doing and there family. I can honestly but sadly say that was promenent before my life time. My parents were working for there home and family. But we weren't all working together. Kids were kids and parents took care of everything. Growing up we mostly had our peers to guide us. That was even before the information age. Teen pregnancy became common and people thought little of it unlike the generation before us. But we our elders we're still there to help us out and be joyful grandparents. But kids were still raising kids. Then here comes the information age. The world and any information at the click of a mouse. We can now see and do anything though a screen. Sounds great, Right! In some way it is. But that itself is a double edge sword. Now everything we do is through a screen. We know what is going on in other people's lives and around the world. But do we really know what's going on in our own family? The little details that makes all the difference? I Hurd the average family only spend 4min a day together. But in America we're as politically correct and careful not to hurt someones feelings as ever. It almost seems like kids raising and teaching parents at this point. And there learning from the bottomless web. There learning to disregard anything going on right next to them even to the greater extreme then we did. Maybe that's why school shootings are becoming more common. We don't know anything until it's in the news. Then it's simply to late. But maybe we'll just become numb to the school shootings. "Just a another one"
