"Lord of the Flies" the original blk/white Brit version. raw and unpretentious. stays quite true to the book.
"Dead Man" a western, a very odd western. i don't generally like westerns so for it to be atop my favorites list is quite a feat.
"The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus", imaginative and clever.
"Altered States" a very cool journey into the weirdness of the human subconscious and beyond.

The Notebook is a favorite, definitely.
Sleeping with the enemy with Julia Roberts
Rocky...all time favorite of course....( visited the statue in Philadelphia)
so many others....
